Q: why is Audi the only car company that doesn't have any plants in the USA?
This not including ultra luxury cars (Bentley, Maybach etc..).
Every other car make has plants in usa..and at least two models manufactured in the usa except for Audi/ Volkswagen!?
Well I think Hyundai/ Kia is the second one that has no plants in the Usa or models made here!?
A: They know some overpaid American who wants to rush out early on a Friday will mess it up.

A: I'm pretty sure there are others that aren't made in USA. Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Maserati, there are surely others that are not built in USA.

A: it must have something to do with strategics about currencies and markets etc. just found an article that they will not open a factory in the short term, but they think about it all the time

They are so unique with everything...I cant explain...lol...The style is so unique and weird in a good way (I like it). Every foreign car make...haves at least two cars made in the usa...but Audi and Volkwagon dont!!!....Whoaa...thats so strange to me...that Audi is so different. The way they do things freaks me out
A: I think what you are trying to say is that the Audi is understated it has better lines than a BMW.They are better finished than BMW's not quite as good a handling car as BMW but the interior is much better quality.

A: AMC Eagle made an AWD Eagle in 1981. Keep in mind that this "all whell drive" meant that all 4 wheels drove all the time, which can cause early tire drive train wear. The Subaru would be the first to have a more modern AWD that doesn't run all four wheels all the time, rather only when needed. This approach can yield better results than 4 wheel drive vehicles as only 1 front and 1 rear wheel is used at any given time.

A: talks about the rs3 are that it is rumored to have the vr6, the 3.2 liter, but turbo charged although no one knows for sure. however, since audi wont even bring over the S3 (since VWoA thinks it will compete with the GTI) i dont think we can expect to see an RS3 anytime soon.

A: Looks like most of these codes are related to two things. One a bad ground wire or battery connector. Check all ground points and make sure they are clean and tight. Second a vacuum leak in the central locking system. Look at the pump and see if you can find a leak there.

A: Sounds like a new wrinkle on the Nigerian scam--soon he'll ask you to send money to an account. He may even get the "World Pay" to call you.
Once you send money to the account, you will never hear from them again.
I'd cease correspondence immediately. You may want to call the FBI or your local PD to see if they are getting any noise.
One more thing: You need to bring any imported vehicle into compliance with EPA and DOT rules in any event. This guy is collecting suckers--what he's saying isn't sensible.

Q: car speakers?
I have an audi a6 but one of the speakers blew. Here is what my car manual says about the max power output
4x20 Watt + 60 Watt subwoofer* (the radio has 4 line outputs with 2 speakers (front) and 2 active speakers (rear))

my current car speakers are 96dB
A: yes and no
they require 100watts RMS (not peak/max, those specs mean absolutely nothing- you care about the continuous wattage which is the RMS wattage) and the radio does not put out ANYTHING near that, so the speaker would be under powered
when a speaker is under powered it will still play but when you start to turn up the volume to about halfway and above the sound quality will take a dump, it will be distorted because the radios internal amplifier (or the shi**y one that comes with the car) will be over working itself trying to supply the necessary wattage
they will sound good at low volumes but as you turn up the volume they will take a turn for the worse
for best results get an amp for your speakers (if you want higher end speakers), or look for the lower end speakers that don't require so much RMS wattage (even though they are lower end they would sound better because your radio can power them better)

The Ford Model T used a German made engine since Henry Ford did not know much about making engines.
It is cheaper for VW/Audi and Hyundai/Kia to build their cars elsewhere. The plants are in Mexico where labor is cheap. That is why Hyundai/Kia's are very cheap. They are cheaper to make than other cars.
