To answer your 2nd question, Audi does have great suspension improvements over the past 2 years or so, Lexus and BMW also provide good a good general smooth feel.

its very reliable, and parts are relativly cheap and easy to get hold of, ive done so reaserch and no one has reported any majour porblems and there was no favorty recalls, your have alot of fun in the jag

A: A great deal will depend on your driving habits but the S8 is going to be the faster and superior handling car. They will both fare pretty poorly on fuel with the difference being quite negligible between the two considering the purchase cost and cost of ownership.

Why the price difference? They both have the same number of bhp...
A: The W12 takes Luxury to another level. As seen in the Movie, The Transporter 2, the W12 can be used as a luxury cruiser, but it can also be driven like it belongs in the Le Mans.
As for the S8, Performance seems to conquer everything. This car has stiffer tuned suspension, more supportive seats, and sportier interior materials than the ones found in the W12.
The price difference is just about $24,000, with the S8 around $96,000, and the W12 at around $120,000. A major contributing factor is size. The S8 only comes in the short wheelbase model. Though it is considered the short wheelbase, the interior remains very large. The W12 comes in the "L" wheelbase which is longer. Though the front seems to be the same size, the rear seats feel larger.

A: both cars have 450hps the w12 is electronically limited to 130 mph and does 0-60mph in 5.7 secs. the s8 v10 is electronically limited to 155 mph and does 0-60mph in 4.7 secs. the audi w12 also weighs about 200 pounds more than the s8.

A: benz is an AWESOME car but the S8 is just amazing ! Lexus isn't even in the running. anyone who actually drives the s8 and can afford one, buys... the A8 was voted worlds best car several years in a row. Add in the V10 Lambo motor, B+O sound, S8 brakes, quattro, air ride, even more luxury... it's nuts !
I've always loved the bimmahs but they are falling WAY behind the technology curve.

A: they are both AWESOME cars but I'd spend my money on the S8. The W12 is interesting cause power wise it's "almost" on par with the S8 but it's basically a monster motor stuffed into a supreme luxury cruiser. It's loaded to the gills with every option known to man. The S8 on the other hand is a true grand touring car. The Lambo V10, the suspension, brakes, performance wheels, the sound of that V10, etc. incredible car.... stuff the wife and kids in and shock the vettes and porsches. did I mention the V10 ? 8-) besides, the //S cars have a real cult following and are sure to hold value better as well.
