A: The basic CTS runs about $41K. Consumer Reports lists nearly every Audi as a car to avoid.
Look at Infiniti or Lexus models if you want something in the $35K to $65K range that will turn heads and last a long time.

Can't seem to decide which one to get. Love the exterior of the BMW, the interior of the Infinity, really like both interior and exterior of the Audi. Let me know what you would choose.
A: It depends who is buying the car...
Choose the 335i if you are the driver (sporty).
Choose the Infinity G37 if you are the wallet (value)
Choose the A5/S5 if you are the drooling by-stander (looks)
Sidenote: The S5 shouldn't be in this group. The "S" in Audi tranditionally only compares to the "M" models of BMW. So if you wanted, the 265hp V6 A5 would be the fair model to compare in here.

it was priced 53,000 MSRP but how much would it be with tax, title and so on?
A: depends on where you live. but normally it runs about 10%.
Therefore $53000 should then be $58300 including tax title and license.

A: Might be able to do it with a VAG-COM tool, not familiar with the S5 codes though. If not a chip company like APR or GIAC might be able to do it. And then there are always the stand alone ECUs that are custom programmed, those will do it for sure.

The Audi is a clean looking car, but just doesn't have the reliability of the Infiniti
The BMW is the performance king, but it doesn't have the value of the Infiniti.
Q: Is the Audi S5 the best coupe to get with that kind of money? Thanx in advance?
A: The S5 has a base price of 50.5K with one fully loaded for about 58K. In terms of its german competitors (Mercedes CLK, BMW 6-series), it has the best performace, even though it costs 15K less than the 6-series. In addition, the exterior of the car is sexy as hell. The interior looks alright, but I think both the BMW and Mercedes have better ones. However, the Audi has AWD, which would make it definitely better in the rain and snow than the other 2 cars I mentioned.
THe BMW 335i is not bad either, but I would go with the Audi because Audis are more reliable than BMW's, the S5 looks a lot better, and the fact that you will become a BMW driver, so people will think your a stuck up prick. Get the S5 if you can.
Q: Can any one give me details on the Audi S5. If any of you have one how much is it a month?
A: I ordered one and it is coming in October. Mine is actually an A5, but it drives very well. My payments are very small due to a $26,000 Trade In (Damn Lexus was a Lemon), and a large down payment.

A: It's a good time, as not many people are buying, and any sale that a dealer can make is a good one. They are probably very willing to deal, and I've heard some pretty good interest rates are available IF you can qualify for a loan.
As to what's a good car - that's tough to say, since we don't know where you are, or what you need in a car. If you're in the US, Detroit sure would appreciate it if you bought a domestic model. Otherwise, I would recommend you do some searching, and maybe get a subscription to Consumer's Reports to see what they recommend and what fits your needs.

A: Get the 335. Recent comparison tests have shown that the BMW 335 was just as fast and in some tests, even faster than the Audi S5, which is supposed to have 54 more hp. Does anyone know why? Weight is about equal between the 335 and S5....
Also, the 335 is cheaper and the HP is underrated so your actually getting more than the 300 they listed..how much more i dont know.
Girls would probably think the S5 is nicer at least based on the interior.
