Q: Why did Audi call the R8 the R8?
They already had an A8, wouldn't this clash? What if Audi followed it usual naming procedures and made a high performance version of the A8 would they call it the RS8? Or would this clash with the rumoured high performance version of the R8, which I heard that a high-ranking person at Audi was calling it the RS8.
The high-ranking person at Audi I was talking about is Wener Frowein, Director of Quattro.
A: R stands for Race, unless ur mercedes and then u put it on a freaken minivan. But RS stands for Rally Street or Race Street
