I have a 2001 Audi TT and I need the silver Audi four ring emblem that goes on the front grill. It's 11 inches and plastic. Dealer want a crazy $50 bucks and the one on Ebay is the 7 inch version.

A: ignore that stupid yank! Both superb cars a top spec 1.8 celica full leather and 0-60 in 7secs or TT 2.5 quattro full leather 0-60 6.5. Both good but celica is more valuable for money and cheaper on repairs. Try considering a Mazda RX8 that is a brilliant sports coupe and has an ingenious engine.

Q: what is the best CHIP possible to increase my horsepower in my Audi TT 180 hp ?

Q: How do you remove the roof rails (strips) on the Audi TT ????
The roof rail on the drivers side has little bubbling (the thin 3cm wide strip which runs along top of the roof) , i would like to know how to remove the rail to spray paint it without breaking any clips etc . I believe they are aluminum. Year 2000 model. Many Thanks

A: I'm not sure but i think on that one you have to drop the head liner and they have nuts on the bottom side of them that hold them on,its been a while since i have done one,once the head liner is down i think you can get to all of them ,be careful though sometimes they,ll break,good luck on it.

Q: Had to change batteeries in my audi TT remote any one know how to reprogram it?


A: just use a penny or something to pop the tab. The part with the buttons opens up with a little force. check www.audizine.com for reprogramming.

Q: what is the process for importing an audi TT diesel (tdi) into america?
there's no plans for this to come here, but i really dig the diesel sports car concept.

A: You can't. This car does not meet US emissions standards and cannot be imported.

Q: where is the diagnostic socket for an Audi TT located?
Ichecked under the instrument panel for minutes to no avail.

A: Look under the dash panel, just above the bonnet openin´g lever at the left hand side, near the driver left foot position you should find it there, normally violet color socket.Cheers!

Q: 2000 Audi tt overheating, maybe its the thermostat?
I have a 2000 audi tt overheating in only a 2 mile drive. I think that the thermostat is stuck, but not sure. It was stored over winter for 3 months and I never had a problem. Then I took it out for a drive and it overheated on me. I was going to replace this myself, but seems like an intense job. I was wondering if anybody had diagrams or a better diagnosis due to the overheating. The fan still turns on and there is coolant in the resovoir. If anybody has any answers or diagrams for installation it would be much appreciated.

Q: Need help with vanity plate for Audi TT?
I am trying to come up with a quipy but easy to understand vanity plate for my Audi TT. I am also a water technician for Culligan Water conditioning, so the vanity plate could have something to do with either or both Audi, TT, or someithing about water.
