A: An Audi A3 sportback is indeed an Audi A3 with 5 doors. Audi has named it, "sportback", so more people would be appealed to it. They have also named it, "sportback", as they have made it longer, but it was not made as long as the A4 Avant or the A6 Avant, so they just decided to name it, "sportback". The Audi A3 Sportback is the second most expensive trim for the Audi A3, and comes only in the Audi Fronttrack system, which is front wheel drive. As of 2008, the German automaker Audi makes only four two-door vehicles for the United States market, the Audi A5, the Audi S5, the Audi R8, and the Audi TT.

I need some info for this car. Can you please compare it to the last car you had. I would really like to know how much you can carry in the cargo hold. Also I would like to know about the rear seat. (Audi A3 sportback in europe, just A3 in the US)

A: The Audi A3 is basically the same platform as the VW Golf/GTI. It has the 2.0T FSI motor, which is very fuel efficient and makes good amount of power (250hp with a performance chip). They also have a 3.2li V6 option. The US cars come 4-doors only, while the European models have the 2-door. Great car, great value... drive one, and you'll be hooked at how it handles the road.

A: load of crap imo. whats the point in a car i have to plug in to charge up? the price of electricity is going through the roof as it is, without powering a car with it. and its not even a green alternative. the majority of the electricity used to charge it (assuming you plug it in at home as stated in that page) is produced by burning fossil fuels anyway. im also interested to know how 'Dad...' has driven it, given that it is a concept car?

Q: What new car should I get?
I'm looking at a new car that I would like to get. In no particuar order- Porsche 911 Turbo, Audi Q7, Audi S3 Sportback, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Commander, Chevrolet Lumina SS, Mercedes C-Class AMG, Rolls Royce Phantom or Bentley Continental Speed. I like each of these cars for different reasons, so that makes the choice that much more difficult. Any help or advise would be great and much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A: If you can afford a phantom I don't think you need help with this choice, and I don't understand why some of those cars are on your list. Drive them all and see what you like best. It is hard for any car over $100,000 USD to be a 'bad' purchase. It is just a matter of which you like better

Q: What sort of discount can I expect from an audi dealer?
I'm considering an A3 sportback, financed through a PCP package. I've got the list price from the dealer, and a rock bottom trade in parice which it's clear they're not going to move on. Looking around at "discount" audi sites the price quoted is about £700 higher than the discount price, but obviously the discount price doesn't necessarily reflect my excact choices in terms of spec. A: Give an exact model & spec, I'll give you a target price. The list price for your car is £17,745. Discounts are tight, a target price is £17,400. The options you've listed should bring the price up to £18,970. Including options, you can get this car brand new for £17,450 from http://www.buyacar.co.uk/detailyq21222.jhtml Remember it's the end of the year, dealers will be pretty desperate to make up sales figures & you should be in a good position to get a discount. Don't bother part exing your old car, they don't want it. If I were you, I wouldn't buy a brand new car, it's just not worth the depreciation (your A3 has a 3 year old value of £9,603) but if you're going to, it will save you thousands by being a bit more flexible on spec and shopping around. Your options will cost you around £1,400 on top of the list price, but there may be cars around of similar spec that dealers want to shift. You won't get any of this additional outlay back when you trade your car in at the end of term either.

What Import cars are between 190-230 in horsepower and really light on insurence becuase I am 18...so far I have... -02 subaru wrx -02 acura rsx-s -95-97 Lexus sc300 -00celica GTS -00-03vw golf GTI with the 1.8t -01 Audi a4 sportback. my pricerage would be around 11,000$ and we are talking of used cars...

Q: Which carseat base do we need?
Hi, I have just bought an Audi A3 sportback which has Isofix seating, however my husband has a BMW 320d MSport which doesn't. We have bought a Maxi Cosi car seat with the Easybase but I am not sure if this base can be used in both our cars???? Or do I need to buy a different base for the Audi?? Any help would be great . Sarah

A: The Easy Base is semi universal and does not require Isofix so it should be fine in both cars. You should have an instruction manual that gives you more detail but as this base only requires a normal seat belt and then secures with the anchor, I don't think there will be any problems. I have fitted the Easybase into my dad's 3 series BMW so I assume the seat belts are pretty much the same.

Q: Company car tax and trading up?
Sure this has been done to death, but i'm slowly getting there! going to opt into a company car scheme, and have the option of trading up for £850. how does this fit into the calculation? on this example:- Audi A3 SE 2.0 tdi 170ps 5 door sportback Manual, 151 CO2 49.6 mpg £21915 P11d value, 21% £850 'trade up' value plus private fuel £16900 How do i calculate this, including the diesel 3%? (higher rate tax payer 32 basic)

A: Go into the inland revenue web site, it will calculate it all for you. If you are on a salary of 32K basic, you should not be on the higher tax rate.
