Q: i have a problem with my car. its an 95 audi sport 90 quattro.can you help?
my window's only work from time to time. i have powered window's. and i dont think it's the motor. because it work's fine. i think it's a bad conection. but i dont know how to check.
A: your windows dont work but the motors work fine? I dont get that----cuz thats what is usually is, 90% of the time. could be the switch which is underneath the control for the power window----take it to a shop.
Q: Audi Sport Mode?
In the Sport Mode for the Audi A4, TipTronic, what exactly does it do? Does it change the way the engine sounds or the suspension?
Thank you in advance!
A: It simply holds the gears to higher rpms when being more aggressive on the throtle. There might be some decreased shifting time as well, but I have not noticed it on mine so far.

Q: Is driving my Audi through the snow considered a sport?
This of WRC (rally cars) I guess they can be considered atheletes.
A: It depends on whether your racing against anybody, after all racing is a sport. Then there is drifting, which is basicly controling your car when over-steering or under-steering.
Drifting is considered a sport and if you went around a mountain curve with the snow all over the place it'd be drifting if you managed to turn your car sideways until you were straight again(Extreamly dangerous, do not attempt).
Then again, the definition of sport is: to amuse oneself. So whatever you do thats amusing yourself, its basicly a sport. Whether it has spectators or not is another thing.
Q: Helps:BMW325i,Audi TT, Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport. What should i Buy?
Which one should i Buy?
BMW 325i around 38000 with everything.
MBZ
MBZ C300 sport( base only with auto transmission) is about $35000 include taxs andthings. MBZ C300 sport with auto transmission and Multimedia Package (navigation, 6 CD changer, sound systemis )is around $38600 include.
Audi TT 2.0 base with Black have to wait for 3 months. Which is around $37500.
A: I really don't like Audi TT that much but I'll say go with BMW325I and Mercedes Benz C300. they both great cars so is your money see which one has more power, better handling and better and on gas. like i said its your money get the better deal and better car.
Q: just bought an audi a4 tdi sport and have put a set of 19" rs6 alloys, what tyre pressure should i use?
car seems to be sliding whilst cornering in the wet??
A: It should give you a max pressure on the tire wall. Dont go over that.
Sliding could be that the tires arent made for wet conditions. Take a look at the tread and it if there arent a lot of places for water to escape from under the tire then your going to be sliding when its wet.
Q: Audi A4 Quattro or Explorer Sport?
I have an option between a '96 Audi a4 quattro with 136,000 miles, great condition. Or an '01 Ford Explorer sport with 150,000 miles. Both for about the same price. What do you think?
A: I don't know about the Ford but I own an Audi A4 T1.8 (2000) - 62K miles.
All I can say is that Audi is impossibly expensive to maintain. I always say to people looking to get an Audi, get it just on lease long enough to be covered by the warranty. Just last year I spent few thousand on repairs. This year I already spent a thousand on timing belt replacement (cheap)and I need to replace the steering rack (for another $2000 - at least). I avoided spending $280 few months back by doing my own diagnostics and cleaning the MAF sensor instead of replacing it like the dealer suggested. Audi (especially the turbo versions) are extremely complex. I usually do my own repairs but not on the Audi. Then the parts are extremely expensive (ex: $800 for cat converter). The hourly rates are very high ($125 per hour in NYC area). One last thing is that since the car is complex, any work takes longer (more money) do do. I listed above that I spent about thousand for timing belt change. The actual number is that $850. But the first quote was $1500 by my original dealer. I shopped around till I found a dealer willing to do it for about $1100 to $1200. But then I found that water pump was not necessary for this one specific model. So I got it down to $850.
Last year I needed to replace my secondary air injector for $1200 or $1300 (I forget). This past summer the dealer fixed a broken vacuum hose. Cost = $160. First time I got in and out of Audi for less than $500. I thought I was lucky until I realized it was just a vacuum tube for $160.
Oh God I'm doing it again...
Good luck.
Q: On an audi what is the difference between Drive and Sport Mode?
A: Drive mode is for normal, everyday driving and unless you push the accelerator close to the floor, will drive in a way to get you the best fuel economy. Sport mode will keep you in each gear longer, bringing the RPMs up, keeping you closer to the engines maximum power output for more spirited driving.
Q: Can anyone give me sports model Audi that will beat a Mustang and possibly a Corvette?
I'm going foreign on alot of these cats Stateside. I'm taking it to Germany where I'm going to live and I'm buying from there so it'll be "ungoverned" the speed on it. Anyway, I'm going foreign on that *SS! I always liked Audi's anyway I'm looking for a sport version that's really fast! People who know a lot about sportscars help me out here! If I can't beat a Corvette fine, but tell me one that can blow away these overrated Mustangs so I can put them to an end on the road. I'm trying to wipeout their racing career!
A: Really it all depends on you the driver and your chosen course. Out on the autobahn, an S4 of an A8 could walk away from a Mustang, just buy sheer top end power, on a road course however the cars are equalized buy taking the long straights out , my recommendation go with a smaller car with a good aftermarket TT would be good, but for my euro, I'd go with a BMW M3 or 318i, good aftermarket, and proven race history.

Q: Audi A3 sport,problems with interior light.?
The dashboard display keeps showing that the passenger side door is still open when closed, and so this means that the interior lights stay on and also the alarm will not set as normal.
HELP
A: there is no switch in the door jamb of an Audi a3 - the switch is built in to the door lock and you will need a new lock to sort this problem
Q: Which one would you choose? Audi A4 1.8TQ Sport or Bmw 3.18i ?
Hi friends;
2004 model Audi A4 1.8TQ Sport (190hp-BEX) or
2004 model Bmw 3.18i (143hp-N42B20)
I would like to get your opinions about this two cars. I will buy one of these but I can not deicide. The fuel efficiency and power is the most important points. I know this is a little bit hard :) I know Audi' s interior quality is higher than the BMW but I think BMW produces more simple, powerfull and reliable engines (without turbo) than Audi. If I was interested in modifying the engine of my car I would choose Audi but I am not a modify - maniac :) But the other side the quattro rules .. :) please help me friends ..
A: Hello,
I have tested both of these cars as up until about a month ago I was in your exact situation pretty much so I will run through my opnions...
BMW 318...
Way too under powered. If you are getting a BMW get a 6 cylinder as they sound much nicer and go quicker etc... Other than this, very nice ride looks good and is very very reliable, one of my friends at work has a 2004 model and it has caused no problems...
Audi A4 1.8 Turbo with Quattro...
Very nice car also. Looks very smart without you looking like some stuck up brat... Interior is much more neutral and sporty looking and has lots more room to fit stuff. Alot of these A4s are handy as you can fold the back seats down. The engine in this car is pretty potent, the turbo is great fun and the AWD handling is incredible. Going through chicanes and hilly roads are a snack with this set up. And not to mention Audis are alot easier to tune with companies like APR or GIAC which can give your car 100s more horse power for only a few 1000 dollars depending on what kits you choose.
So what did I end up buying?
Well... I came across an Audi A4TQ in the B7 shape (2005 model) for a few 1000 more so I thought what the heck and bought it, very fun to drive on winding mountain roads, not too bad on fuel too... To be hounest not too fast in a straight line but it will beat most average cars out there and once you throw some corners in it will definitely leave your competitors for dead!
This is not to say the 3 series is a bad car, if you choose to get one of those, get a 325i or 330i, they go like the wind!
Cheers! Good luck
Q: If I have $35000, what is a sport sedan should I choose?
I have $35,000 which I plan to spend on a new car. The car must be a sedan (four door), sporty, luxurious. My current ideas are : BMW 335i, Mercedes C300 or C350 Sport, Audi A4, BMW 5 Series. Any suggestions would be appreciated
A: WRX STI. so fast
Q: What drive type does the 98 Audi a4 sports edition have front or rear wheel drive?
A: Look under the rear of your car. If there in no differential then you have FWD. If there is then its AWD.
Q: which is the best car a bmw 330d m sport. a audi 3.0d s line or the jaguar xf 2.7d?
A: the jaguar
