Q: For Audi and BMW owners : How would you rate your car's reliability compared to Japanese cars?
I guess it helps if you've owned a Japanese car before but yeah... I just love the styling and performance of Audis and BMW cars but always hear /read about reliability issues. Is this really true?
A: I had both and I like the German cars better. Simple is elegant, on the Japanese side is more of more gadgets is luxury. I am not the type of person that gets lost easy and needs a Nav system to go to the grocery store. One thing that I noticed is no too many people knows how to deal with Euro Imports so is hard to find a good tech.
Looking back about the 70s and 80s during the fuel crisis. The Japanese cars got their big break. The Euro cars were too expensive and left for the wealthy to buy. I remember in High School we moded the Honda CVCC (aka Cvic) since was a cheap car to obtain and was like a toy and cheap on gas. That gained popularity among my generation and learned how these cute little toys worked. Euro imports for their price, you could bought 3 Hondas, so they were left to Rich folks that does not give a dam on how that works and have the money to maintain and repair. Still Japanese cars were expensive to fix but at the mid range. US build suffered a heavy punch during those dark ages but their were cheaper to fix, Euro cars again, expensive as heck to fix and maintain. So the choice was obvious, most people looked at Japan for cars. So now you see what we have. But anybody that had the chance to drive a Datsun or a Mazda or a Toyota or a Mitsubishi they know they were not even closed to High Performance. You had to live during those days to understand what is out there now.
Q: How do you unlock the Audi Le Mans for my cars and career?
because in videos on the web people where costomizing them and free roaming. And if you can unlock it, can it be done on PS3?
A: Yes Its Possible If Your Talking About Need For Speed Carbon U Need To Beat Darius In A Canyon Race When You Take Over His Territory
Q: anyone know about audi cars?
i have a audi a4 1.8 r reg...i had car jet washed since then iv noticed the tempture seems to go near to over heat ?
A: check if the high temperature sensor installed on radiator is connected to wires, which causing fan cooler not work, may be loosed under water pressure of cleaning.
Q: What is the correct pronunciation of these cars? - Porsche, Audi?
A: POUR-sha, OW-dee (that's OW, like when you hurt yourself)
And in case you're wondering, Jaguar is jag-YOU-war.
Q: Can I get a list of price list of AUDI cars in China after tax please?
A: Sam is correct too
Q: i need to know the range, dealer[s]& the cost of audi cars?
i want to know the state of the various models.
A: That depends, new or used? For new go to audi.com and they should have all the information there. Just expect to pay more than the MSRP due to additional fees. In my opinion, your money is better spent elsewhere. An Audi is essentially a luxury VW. Same as Acura is to Honda, Lexus is to Toyota, Cadilac is to GM, etc. Great cars, but you'd save money if you just bought a high end VW rather than a low end Audi and still have a great car. You'd save even more if you buy certified pre-owned. Blue book value drops considerably once you drive a new car off the lot.
Q: Are Audi's good cars? How about V-Wagons?
Im debating between 3 cars can SOMEONE help me!
Ford Fusion, Volkswagon and a Audi AT looking for the one that is the most gas sufficent!
A: If mileage is most important and its a gas burner not diesel, go with the Ford Fusion. Fairly reliable and much safer than the VW and Audi. Audi's are rebaged VW's but cost 35% more. If its a diesel then go with something else.
Q: What does it mean '' vorsprung Durch technik'' in German ? this is the slogan of Audi cars?
A: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorsprung_durch_Technik
Q: Mobile Auto Service Technician for VW/Audi cars.?
As a factory-certified auto master tech, I have constantly been thinking of setting up a repair shop for VW/Audi service, but unable to afford the rent cost for retail shop, other overheads and u.s laws paper work etc. involved in this venture.
I am thinking to start as a mobile service tech for audi &VW cars until such time that my customer base would require such a shop, but have just two questions:
1.Is this type of mobile venture a profit making type in Maryland state like DC or Viginia?
2.Apart from my hand tools and other basic equipment, what other stuff should the onboard this mobile Van?
I would be grateful for an input from any body who has tried this business before, mentioning the merits and demerits and the tricks involved as well.
Thank you.
Unclear about the answer, do you mean I should rather do something else?
A: Could one repair enough cars in a day to repay fixed costs?
Would people want their cars repaired in parking lots and the like.
Would business allow mobile auto mechanics to operate on their property. Would zoning laws be impacted?
One can replace a windshield in 30 minutes which has made mobile windshield replacement very successful.
Q: does Audi make good cars? over hyped? problems? good on gas?
I saw the new A4 on my way home the other day and fell in love with it!! <3 But.. ahem... my brother told me not to buy an Audi because they are horrible cars. He said the engines don't last more than 50 thousand km and have a bleek record for quality and are over hyped by the media and since he is a car expert I'm going to believe him but I need a second opinion from other car people. Just don't tell him!
A: Audi is Volkswagens big brother, German cars are amazing on performance as well as gas mileage and will last well over 250,000 miles. I use to have a Jetta and now I have an Audi A4 and it is totally worth the money in that you spend on it.
Q: did u notice that the concept cars on minority report were pretty much the audi R8?
here http://robson.m3rlin.org/cars/wp-content/uploads/2007/03/audi_rsq_sports_coupe_concept.jpg
it would have been pretty awesome to know i advance that they were going to come out 10+ yrs later
A: yes.

Can I buy a nice Audi or BMW with around $10000. ?
Looking for used ( 3 to 5 Years old). Which one is best AUdi or BMW. I found some Audis 3 to 5 years old and around 70K miles on them. How reliable these cars with the above condition if they have cleas car fax history.
A: I think BMW's are better - one from experience and two a girl I work with her husband owns a foreign auto repair place and he said he would never buy and Audi - they keep him in business.
Q: Need to buy a few Audi Q7 and Mercede Benz cars?
