Q: Car negotiating price help.....?
My parents are willing to pay about $35,000 for my first car. I really like the bmw 3 series or the new audi a5 thats going to becoming out. when i look at the bmw prices at the dealers they are well above the "invoice" price provided on the site. For example: the 328xi costs about $34,000 on the site but at the dealership they charge almost $40,000. What price should i try to negotiate for? My friends said I should negotiate below the invoice price on the site because the dealer still makes money. Thanks!!!!!
A: do your price shopping on Edmund's.com and kbb.com
1.find the price you want to pay and stick with it.
2.go and look at the dealers when they are closed( that way you don't have some idiot following you around while you are looking) I have yet to find a salesman that knows their own product
3 find your vehicle and email them about it do not give your name and number( I use Joe Driver) make them be direct and clearly answer your questions. Make them an offer (use autotrader.com)
4. make sure you have your own money before you go to the dealer( it's ok to let them know on line that you have your own money)
5. Go to the dealer on the last day of the month 11/2 hour before they close
6. Absolutely stick to your price and you will save a bundle. at first they won't budge but remind them it's the last night of the month
I have bought my last two trucks like this. I saved 6500 dollars om my sporttrac that way
I looked at it for 21995 and drove it home for 15166 quite a savings.
I always buy slightly used and use the avg. trade in calc. on Edmund's for my prices then I take off 2-2500 from that and that's what they gave the poor guy that traded in so you can get a deal you just have to be firm don't go to the dealer and buy the same day use my tech. and you will be glad
Q: Is an all new Acura RL worth it's price??
I know it cost alot more than a tl and tsx but I find the exterior design not to intriguing...is it really worth the price?
Or should I get a audi TT or a5 instead?
Or the infiniti coupe
A: Here's the breakdown
Acura-reliable, sporty. JAPANESE
Audi TT-Sporty, but small rear seat. EUROPEAN
Audi a5-New, coupe, unique EUROPEAN
Infiniti G-Sporty, a bit common (sryy)JAPANESE
I don't think it is worth the price. Audi's are off the chain and styling cues should really attract you. Fairly good mileage too.
Acuras in my opinions are kind of bland cars.
Infinitis are cool, but the G is a bit common. I love their styling cues and to my they ALMOST match that of an Audi.
I would go with Lexus if your looking for Japanese cars, because if your into Acura, Lexus and Infiniti is definitely in the same ball park.
But to answer your question no.
BUT IN THE END YOU WILL BE DRIVING THE CAR!
not the people here giving you advice lol
Q: Different Audi's ???
What's the difference between the Audi A4, A5, A6 and A8?
Four different models, but they all look pretty much the same.
What are the main differences between each one and which ones are more powerfull and more expensive? (specify : price, engine size, bhp, 0-62)
A: The bigger the number, the more expensive. A3, A4, A5, A6, A8.
A4 is cheapest and smallest. It uses a 4 cylinder turbo engine and a 6 cylinder engine. The sport versions use V8 engines.
-200HP 2.0L 4 cylinder Turbo - Audi A4 $28,900.
-265HP 3.2 V6 - Audi A4 $36,300
-350HP 4.2L V8 - Audi S4 0-60 in 5.1s $48,610
-420HP 4.2L V8 - Audi RS4 0-60 in 4.8s. $66,900
A5 is the coupe version of the A4. The A4 is a sedan. The A5 is a 2 door car. It has a turbo 4 cylinder and a 6 cylinder. The Sport version uses a V8 engine. Expect the price to be $5000 more than the Audi A4 with the same engine.
-200HP 2.0L 4 cylinder Turbo- Audi A5 0-60 in 6.7s
-265HP 3.2 V6 - Audi A5 0-60 in 5.8s
-350HP 4.2 V8 - Audi S5 0-60 in 5.1s
A6 is a midsized sedan and more expensive. It uses a V6 engine. The Sport version uses a V10 engine.
-265HP 3.2 V6 cylinder - Audi A6 0-60 in 6.0s $42,950
-350HP 4.2L V8 - Audi A6 0-60 in 5.2s $56,300
-450HP 5.2L V10 - Audi S6 0-60 in 4.8s $72,350
The A8 is the largest and most luxurious and most expensive. It competes with BMW 7 series, Lexus LS, and Mercedes S class. It uses a V8 engine and the sport version uses a V10 engine.
-350HP 4.2L V8 0-60 in 5.6s $70,690
-450HP 6.0L W12 0-60 in 5.1s $120,100
-450HP 5.2L V10 0-60 in 5.1s $93,300
Q: I'm looking for a new audi?
Should i get an A5 or A4 or A6. I kinda like the Q7's. I have one child. He's 15 almost 16. he's getting my old audi or maybe my civic havn't decided but anyway im 45 what do you think would be a good car. Price is no object. if you have any other cars than say them to. I don't like American cars. Not that theres anything wrong with them i just dont like the looks.
A: The Audi A4 is a top recommendation by Consumer Reports, but the reliability is average. The A5 is meant to compete with the BWM 3 series coupe, Infiniti's G35 and the Mercedes-Benz CLK models. The base model for the A5 has the same 3.2 liter, V6 engine in the Audi A6. If you decide to get the A5 you should also look at the BWM 3 series coupe, the Infiniti G35 and the Mercedes CLK. Audi's A6 is also a top recommendation. The reliability and satisfaction are very good. The Q7's reliability is very bad but the satisfaction is very good. If I were to choose, I would get the A6 or the A4. Happy hunting!
Q: Can you help me decide what car to get?
My Aunt and Uncle said that they can buy me a car for my 18th birthday as long as it's not over their price limit. Please help me decide. And please don't call me spoiled because I have never had much in life and since their kids already moved out I am like a child to them now. I don't live with my parents and I only get to see them for 3 months a year and that is why my aunt and uncle are getting me a car. Plus my parents would never afford this kind for me. Thank you for helping. =)

So let me know what you think =)
A: Sorry, but i think you are spoiled. How about a bit of humility and comprehension of the value of money. Some might say someone with any sort of dignity would turn the offer down or at least choose something much cheaper.
A lot of people will never afford any of those cars if they live to be 100 never mind 18. You sound like you'd feel hard done by if you had to make do with a $5,000 car.
Grow up, get a Honda Civic and use the rest of the money towards a house. Or do you plan on sponging one off auntie and uncle.
Q: hii, i recently got rid of my a4 and leased a v w touareg... but i want the new a4, can i get out of my lease ?
ok soo i fell in love with the new audi a4 and a5 and i want to trade my new 08 volkswagon touareg in for one of them. the touareg cost about 40,000 and the new a4 about 33,000 and the a5 about 40,ooo too so all the cars are in thesame price range so i know i can afford to lease any of the vehicles but i did lease the touareg and i put a lot down to lower my monthly payments....(5,000) I also know vw credit and audi finantial are the same company and i didnt have to pay any end of lease payments on the old audi cause i stuck with the same company...... Well i want a new audi but will they let me trade in my currently leased touareg to lease a new a4 or 5? if so do you think i will get any of the prepaid down payment back? the touareg only has 4,000 miles on it and ison its fourth month.... i know this is kinda a stupid question and mostlikley depends on the dealer but has anyone ever leased a luxury car and wanted to trade it in for another so soon in the lease? how did it work out for you? Thanks everyone and happy holidays.
A: Yes, you can trade in a leased car early. However, you will be responsible for the difference on what the car is worth today (depreciation) Vs: what the remainder is on your lease. To make it easier for you, you will have to come out of pocket with quite a sum of money to cancel your lease. Not a smart move.
