Q: Does anyone know how to work a 6 changer CD player on an Audi A4 Cabriolet, 03 plate?
I have followed the instructions on the manual but every time I press load and try to load the CD it will not even allow the CD in. Then if I press the bottoms from 1-6 it then says error on CD 2 and error on CD 3. Just to add the CD's I've tried are not copy CD's. Thanks
A: Ye. Time to switch it out. I had similar issues last year. Sucked. Try to get your CDs back tho. They never sent my stuff back.
Q: I want to buy a Audi A4 Cabriolet, But are they reliable?
Hi guys
I am going to buy a 2005 Audi A4 Cabriolet
Beautiful Car
But i want to know if they are reliable
I know that they are pricey to fix but i'm ok with it
But I do need to know if it break a lot or are high maintenance.
Please answer for real do not say what you THINK. say what you KNOW. Audi owners please answer. Your answer means a lot to me!
Thanks
A: I sell Audi's primarily because they have saved my life.
1 Crash: Driving with my friend in his dad's A6 when an 18-Wheeler Rear Ended us at 25MPH into a Suburban. We both walked out perfectly fine with only airbag burns.
2 Crash: Driving myself in my A3 when I hit a 150lb. Deer at 40MPH. Walked out fine with only a totaled car.
3 Crash: On a test drive with customer in a 2004 A4 Cabrio when an Explore flipped and landed partially on the hood of the car. We were both unharmed.
To be perfectly honest, they will be expensive like any other high end German Car. Mostly because Audi uses VERY high quality parts that are expensive from the start.
But, maintenance is really never unexpected. You will never be driving and the car will just start overheating. The average Audi repair would be a nice "Check Engine" light on the dashboard.
I would recommend getting either an extended warranty or the Audi Care Package because it will help in repairs.
Good Luck
Q: Transmission problems on Audi A4 Cabriolet 2003 automatic?
My service shop told me there is a technical service bulletin out on my model. She tried to tell me it wasa software problem. I know I need a new transmission. Has anyone had this or a similar problem? How did you handle the dealer?
A: i own a repair shop, and i have had to deal with a few dealers on this matter ,don't let them tell you there's a certain amount of money you have to pay,,this is all covered by the warranty part of the car,,if they can ,they,ll try and get you for about 400 of the actual cost of the repair,,but your not liable for it,but there was a service bulletin on this problem, and the new transmission will be updated to correct this problem..good luck hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.
Q: Audi a4 Cabriolet vs. Sedan?
So, this summer I'm getting my car. It's either going to be a black audi a4 cabriolet or a black audi a4 sedan. The problem is, I live in Indiana and don't know whether getting a cabriolet is the best choice, since there is a huge fluctuation in the weather. Is the one season of summer worth getting a cabriolet? Also a pros and cons list would REALLY help (:
A: Not everybody is a convertible fan, there is the wind, the noise, the direct sun, the dust inside the car, poor visibility when the to is up, convertible is heavier, the body is more flexible prone to rattles, its less safe, less secure from theft, more maintenance on the retracting mechanism, more prone to leak, etc.. If all that does not deter you, go for the convertible. Personally for a daily driver, I would go with the sedan, if you are shopping for a second fun car, maybe the convertible is a good choice.
Q: What do you think of the Audi A4 Cabriolet?
A: it's very good car. Insurance is high on any convertable. I prefer the S4 sedan. Audi makes very good cars.
If you have the colour choice - please avoid RED.
Q: Audi A4 Cabriolet Convertible?
I am looking into buying this car pre-owned. Any owners or previous owners have opinions or suggestions about this car?
A: Yes, unless you are an Audi trained mechanic, and can get parts for free, avoid this car.
Q: Audi A4 Cabriolet.....?
I'm thinking of purchasing this car instead of the Audi TT....
I'm a girl and I love cars but I mainly love the look of them....
So does anyone know the advantages of the A4?
A: I would rather have the A4. the A4 offers more space, practicality, higher resale value, and a better interior in my opinion.
Though the TT is a really nice car, I think it is too small and should primarily remain as a "weekend car", rather than a car for a daily driver. The A4 is a fun convertible that offers a descent size of rear leg room, plus a larger trunk because it does not have a hardtop like most high end convertibles today.
If you are willing to wait, the new A3 Cabriolet will be hitting the US Market. The A3 Cabrio will be the rival of the BMW 1-Series Convertible. It will be cute like the TT, but offer more practicality than it. Plus, it will cost less than the A4 Carbiolet.

Sorry, there is no official site for the A3 Cabrio yet.

Q: Saab 9-3 convertible vs. Audi a4 cabriolet?
i respect both saab and vw but i want the one with best overall preformance.
A: it depends on the year and the options. My friend has a 2004 A4 cab with the 3.0 V6 and it is quite fast especially in comparison to my 2004 93 aero sedan. If price is an issue I would go with the Saab, if price isn't an issue I would get the A4 with quattro. The FWD of the Saab even with the newer 2.8L V6 is hard to launch if you haven't practiced. On the other hand some of the A4's in the past haven't had the option of a manual trans with engine selection and would require you to use a auto with manual mode, which isn't bad but lacks some of the fun of a manual. Of course the AWD of the A4 is a great selling point and is a great system, but I would love it if you could adjust the power distribution to front and rear wheels, it is 60-40 with the front getting the most power.
I would drive both of the cars in the year you want and with the options you want and decide from there. Good luck.
Q: I am interested in purchasing an Audi A4-2.0 or cabriolet, manual or automatic? comfort and fuel economy?
I currently drive a manual toyota tercel and am looking for comfort, relaxation and fuel economy in an Audi A4.
A: That is one hell of a leap from a tercel to an A4! If you are looking for comfort and relaxation, its obvious the auto will fit the bill. However, you can shift the automatic, its called Tiptronic, and the technology is from Porsche. Economy wise its about the same.
Q: Audi transmission broken?
Hi, I have a 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet Convertible, and the transmission has been acting up out of the blue. Now, after starting the car, when I shift into reverse, it will either buck very hard, or the car itself will entirely shutdown. If I can get past that, and get into first gear, then shifting into 2nd gear makes the car buck again and make terrible noises. After that, it becomes smooth and I can still go on the highway. But today, heading back home, it couldn't even get past a little hill on my driveway!
Has anybody heard of this? What's wrong with my car? Should I go send it in for repairs at the dealer, or a Euro Specialist? Please help! Thanks!
A: If it isn't under warranty, go to an independent mechanic. Dealers will charge higher shop rates, and they'll charge you at least a few dozen percent more for parts.
This is part of where the term "stealership" comes from.
Q: How do I get XM radio in my car?
I have a 2005 audi a4 cabriolet and I know it has a satelite radio receptor (or whatever) in it. But I don't subscribe to XM radio, If I start subscribing how do I activate it in my car?
Thanks.
A: Go to channel 1 and get the 8 digit ID number, and call 1-800-XMRADIO

Q: Audi vs Saab?
Audi VS SAAB?
I am shopping for a convertible. I am considering 2004 Audi A4 3.0 Cabriolet w/ Premium pkg 45.5k miles $20K (I haven't driven it yet), 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc 47k miles $20K (I drove it).
any input about any of these two cars in regards to maintenance and reliability, safety, comfort and performance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Z :)
A: Saabs parts are hard to find and expensive I hate SAABS!!!
Q: Premium Rental Convertable from LAX to SFO?
I'm looking to rent a Pemium convertable (e.g. Audi A4 Cabriolet, BMW 3) to get from LAX to SFO, with a one way rental. Hertz is the only company that I've found with premium rentals, but they won't let me go one way. Any thoughts?
A: The airports do not allow people to have one-way rentals. Try a Hertz office away from the airport but they may charge you extra for one-way rental. You can also try Enterprise.
Q: Coolest or cutest cars?
I'm trading in my car this December and want to get a cool car. I will probably get it used and so far I really like the Audi A4 Cabriolet. I really like convertibles in particular but does anyone have any recommendations on cars in terms of looks and performance? What do you thinks of the Audi A4 Cabriolet?
Thanks guys!
I would prefer one with a backseat.
A: try the nissan 350z. it is so sweet. im getting one in a few months (used of course)
